<span lang="EN-US">The conventional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method such as perturb and observe (P&amp;O) under partial shading conditions with non-uniform irradiation, can get trapped on local (LMPP) cannot reach global (GMPP). This study proposes a bio-inspired metaheuristic algorithm spotted hyena optimizer (SHO) improved SHO new MPPT technique. The proposed SHO-MPPT are used to extract GMPP from solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays operated uniform irradiation irradiation. Simulation Powersim (PSIM) experimental the emulated PV source were presented. Furthermore, evaluate performance of algorithm, is compared P&amp;O-MPPT particle swarm optimization (PSO)-MPPT. has an accuracy 99% good capability, but there fluctuations before reaching MPP. Therefore, was developed better results. proved high faster than PSO-MPPT in (MPP). minor fluctuations.</span>
